Procurement
This step involves identifying the needs for raw materials, tooling, packaging, and other supplies needed to fulfill customer orders. At Gardette we stand out as the only manufacturer in the world to have our cold rolling, drawing and heat treatment plant. This allows us to produce our raw material and thus reduce our manufacturing times.
Effective inventory management
In addition to our stock of raw materials, we have a stock of finished products of more than 25,000 references. We use traceability, the FIFO method and rotating inventories throughout the year, to secure our stocks and deliver as soon as possible. Our ADV team/logistics of 6 employees attaches paramount importance to the preparation of around 260 lines per day.
Preparing orders
Our order pickers work meticulously and professionally to guarantee customer satisfaction. Barcode readers are used to ensure compliant delivery. Once the products are collected, we take maximum care of our packaging to protect them during transport. Depending on the type of product, its size and weight, we use different types of packaging such as cardboard boxes, bags, pallets, wooden boxes, etc. After packaging, we label each package including essential information such as content, recipient and delivery address. We also attach the delivery note.
Order tracking
At Gardette, we are proud of our expertise in order tracking. Our ADV teams have the ability to monitor each stage of the manufacturing of our products in real time, which allows us to ensure effective communication with our customers throughout the process. Thanks to this proactive approach, we can anticipate possible delays and thus strengthen the satisfaction of our customers by offering them total transparency on the status of their order.
Fast and reliable delivery
We are in a position to offer you a delivery in only 24/48 hours thanks to our large stock and our network of reliable and efficient carriers. After preparing and labelling the packages, it is essential to choose the right carrier to deliver to our customers. This choice depends on various factors such as customer requirements, delivery destination, desired delivery times, as well as package dimensions and weight. That is why we collaborate with:
- DPD for packages under 30 kg
- CEVA for courier shipments
- Chronopost for express deliveries of packages under 30kg (delivery the next day before 13:00 or 18:00)
- TNT and DHL for express deliveries
We are able to track your package at each stage of the delivery.
Returns and after-sales service
Our team dedicated to returns management is committed to responding to all your concerns within 24 to 48 hours. Our number 1 objective is to offer you an impeccable customer experience and to guarantee your long-term satisfaction.
The reserves
A package missing, damaged or resticked ! It is essential to put reservations on the transport receipt and to confirm them to us within 48 hours. Please note that the valid reservations are as follows: damaged pallet, open packages, missing parts. If the reservations are not accurate, significant and complete we will not be able to process your complaint.
